Boy. He sure was right about that crime rate.
Is it fair to say this is the best comedy ever made? I'm brave, I'm gonna say it!
That Sean Penn bit was priceless and Hilarious......
I wonder did the Coen Bros interview feature in Floor Coverings Weekly in the end?
"You're not wrong... you're just an asshole!!!" 😆
This film remains to this day my favorite story. As an animal man and an actor, this film hits home like no other.
Enemy is as close as anyone that could get to David Lynch. We got the weird paranoia, angles, a pair of doppelgängers, Isabella Rossellini ( Blue Velvet) that tells him to quit that fantasy about being a movie actor. It's Lost Highway and Mulholland Dr. He's at war with his own shadow self and so many other things. Similarities are striking. I think it's Denis Villeneuve last chance to make this kind of art house project before he got to make all those big budget films. I was just watching it for the first time since it came out. I remember that it did hit a cord in me but i did not understand it and left it at that. I have been waiting to see Dune 2 now for months but tomorrow i'll watch Dune 1 and then go on the other at the Cinema. I think it's getting out this week.
LMAO
This is awesome, but it should be The Big Lebowski, actors talk about their roles, not Making of.
This movie is at the very top of my list for go to movies when I need some laughs. Simply hilarious
This is the Best Live Action Disney Movie, Right Next to, Honey, I Shrunk the Kids, Honey, I Blew Up the Kid, Honey, We Shrunk Ourselves, The Incredible Journey, Homeward Bound the Incredible Journey, Homeward Bound 2 Lost in San Francisco, The Mighty Ducks, D2 The Mighty Ducks, D3 The Mighty Ducks, Cheetah (1989), Who Framed Roger Rabbit, Flight of the Navigator, Hocus Pocus, The Journey of Natty Gann, White Fang, White Fang 2 Myth of the White Wolf, Etc. Etc. also, I remember renting this movie when it was released on VHS, another hour later my husband Adam, our five children, our 6-year-old Identical Twins named Ellie (Girl) and Julian (Boy), our 8-year-old daughter named Sarah, our 10-year-old Fraternal Twins named Keith (Boy) and Ruth (Girl), and I would sit down in the living room, Adam would put the movie in the VCR, he would sit on the couch beside me, we would each have a bowl of Hot Popcorn with Hot Butter, a Candy Bar, a Soda Pop, We would watch the movie, and over the next few hours we would watch the movie in spellbound silence, it was amazing from start to finish, Great Acting, Great pace and Special Effects, Great Everything.
leads?

I think, I didn't get it on my 1st viewing, but it was soooooo looooong ago (Perhaps, I was too young). I rewatched it recently, and it's a madterpiece :----).

Patrick Van Horn was news anchorman at WTAJ TV 10 in Altoona Pennsylvania 1979-1981.
I remember this movie and it's on Disney plus but I saw this movie in the theaters with The Santa Clause.
john goodman is pure gold in this film
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Two skeezy guys who play with their fingernails too much. Very disappointing. Sorry I watched this.
A friend of mine named his dog Donnie so every time the dog would bark, he could say "Shut the fuck up, Donnie!"
Dunno. When they talk I don't like them much, and yet they wrote my favorite movie and the funniest thing in the universe.
An interesting interview, but I think the bros Cohen seems to be half-autists... 😊 Did they ever work at a factory? I mean manually....😅 Obviously they are not 'the working class'...
non union? fuck that.
Cowards…weaklings…BUMS
They start fiddling with their fingers, after a while loosen up and enjoy talking about their work. Those who regularly work with directors describe them as work-obsessed narcissists, but Cohen Bros seem more down to earth. “Making of…” videos don’t seem to use on-set footage any more. Sit-down interviews are thoughts about production rather than production. Not as interesting. 😢
Nice robe. LoL
I can't believe Turturro went and did a movie about Jesus Quintana. 8 year olds dude....
I can't believe these dudes wrote this movie and Fargo and The man who was never there. So far apart one from the other.
Take a drink every time one of the Coens says "Sort of"
They both be picking at their fingernails hardcore at the beginning
Watching this movie again.. I feel like it could’ve used a lot more Phil Hoffman ..that’s the only thing I’d change about an endlessly rewatchable film
“you mean colitis?” might be the best line ever.
*Coitus, and "colitis", are two very different things. They said, "coitus."
@@OttoByOgraffey damn autocarrot
I’m relieved that even the Coen brothers thought Miller’s Crossing was convoluted. Ya think ?
There's a beverage involved here, Man!!!
who da fuck is chandler?
Raymond Chandler
Bridges makes the lines come alive like no one else.
Who picks at their fingernails during an interview?
Isn't it wonderful how this story by the Cohens, that was based on a Dude they met, some actors they wanted to use and wrote parts for, an insane director in hollywood everyone knew (Goodman's character), all were thrown into a cheesy 1950's Film Noir detective plot along with a lot of 70's drug culture influence and it became this masterpiece that hangs together and presents a cohesive film, even though it has no earthly reason for doing so? I don't know about you, but I take comfort in knowing that they are out there, just tying it all together for us.
“To give him something to sink his teeth in to we made him a child molester” 😮 these guys man…
